A combination of interview and observation techniques have been adopted in the data collection in carrying out this research efforts have been made to give recommendation to the encountered problem and to ensure that the collected data is useful for the purpose if it was done.

ABSTRACT
This research is designed to examine the impact of academic libraries on student research in Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka as a case study.
Infact the purpose of the study are to find out the Impact of academic libraries on student to know achievement and role played by academic libraries on student research work to determine their relevance of service rendered by them, the need to establish a well organized library in every higher institution. The need for professional librarians and how far student Utilize the materials.
